Search engine giant Google made a bold move in India. It initiated a training program in India on Android Mobile Apps Development along with online training company Udacity. Google identifying Indian IT pool as untapped potential and intended to make good use of these resources through arranging valuable IT course. It is definitely a great move from Google at the outset of huge unemployment situation for the software developers in India.
The price for this training program is fixed as Rs. 9,800/-per month while the degree course through this training program is going to span from 6 to 9 months. Training will be offered from the Google Instructors from the USA and assuring 50% cost back on graduation. According to Google, India is currently holding 3.6 million software developers that is second in the world to have those many software professionals. Google thinks that they’re still lagging behind in the creation of the world class apps and this training step is taken in this regard. Training program is started in Bangalore by the Google India Managing director Rajan Anand.
There are 1000 scholarships available for the training takers and there will be job fair next year from Google for the completed graduates in the program.
